Kraja reflections on his 15-year journey with Dartmoor-Bikes
... and it all started with jumping off curbs, then flights downstairs, and the first hop ...
Fifteen years have passed since Piotrek "Kraja" Krajewski embarked on his journey with Dartmoor-Bikes, marking a remarkable milestone in his gravity-bike career. Kraja's dedication to Dartmoor-Bikes has been unwavering through countless trails and competitions, embodying the spirit of endurance and passion.
Kraja's achievements and contributions to the gravity bikes community stand as a testament to the quality and reliability of Dartmoor-Bikes. It is with sincere appreciation that we extend our thanks to Kraja for choosing Dartmoor as his companion on the trails, and we look forward to many more years of shared adventures ahead.

It's in Polish, but you can easily put it into a translator and check out what he has to say. It's worth it!
Ride Your Way!
How it started. Back in 2010, we realized Kraja was missing a nipple from a crash back in the day. At least we know if we speak with a real one just by checking if it’s still there! |
Piotr made a bus stop backflip in 2011 to celebrate Polish Independence Day. This is how the Dirt it More crew started - doing eye-catching stuff around Poland. Fun fact - the founder Jan Kiliński is our R&D chief! |
Around 2012 a Trotyl on Tour team - dirt jumping friends from all around Poland made it to Barcelona for the first time. This trip was hands down one of the wildest endeavors from our region to the capital of Catalonia up to date. Stoked all made it back with just a few teeth and ankles missing. |
Elof Lindth, Piotrek Krajewski, and Szymon Godziek are all claiming stem for us at La Poma. |
While shooting for a Ride Your Way movie, we stepped back to Kraja’s home spot - Kazoora, one of the oldest and still working bike parks in Poland which started as a pile of trash turned into jumps. Front row is Kraja, Janek Kiliński, Michał Szaszłyk Borysowski, Andrzej Wrzosek and Mateusz Szachowski. |
Classic Ride Your Way angle taken back in 2014. Impossible to shoot now as Warsaw changed but riding roofs was always a blast! |
Kraja on a day he finished his education at Warsaw’s SGH university with a local sign for a football club - Kraja got us in a lot of trouble on the tour when he started football chants. |
Becoming a trail master is a natural way if you run a bike park. Kraja puts tons of digging into his beloved Kazoora. |
Piotrek was one of the first riders ever to score a burger company sponsorship that saved the team during the PumpTour in 2019 as the chain restaurant fed them from town to town. They even got champagne treatment (in a burger spot) from one of the owners! Here Piotr explains how to pump to some young riders. |
Kraja’s signature. You can find this trick on many of our merch and decals. |
Working closely on becoming a YouTube sensation with Jan Kiliński at La Poma in 2020. |
On becoming a fitness person at a classic Barcelona crib. That is how you live on tour. Kraja after he has destroyed his arm established a routine to keep his body ready for riding and never stopped since. |
When you ride bikes for a lifetime it is a refreshing feeling to pass on the torch to the next generation and watch it grow - here with teammate Antek Faszczewski. |
Another classic but on a big bike Thunderbird this time. Shot taken in Chatel bike park in 2021. |
During the Shimano SLX ad, team Kraja, Antek, Jan, and Natalia getting ready to drop in. |
Definitely one of the gems Kraja and Mateusz Szachowski shot during their partnership on the road - roost from Malaga, Spain, in February 2022. |
While shooting a bike check after the lift stopped in Leogang, we simply decided to chill at the lake during a hot summer day. Who wouldn’t? |
Escaping the rain after bombing the Black Hills in France. |
Among other riders Kraja testing prototypes like Rocbird pictured here is quite simple. While Piotrek is not as tech-savvy as most of the testers, his wisdom on what works and what is not cutting it made a lot of our products better. |
Is it something more MTB than a rowdy road gap with a truck in the background? Shot taken in Evo Bikepark, France in late autumn 2022 |
From big mountains to Bielsko Biała - a local resort full of DIY tracks worth shredding. In May 2024 this place will be a home for the Enduro and Downhill UCI World Cup. |
Same trails love to make you push until you can’t! Cheers Piotrek for staying alive all these years and Ride Your Way! |
