The Blackbird Junior with 26" wheels shares the same high-performance DNA as the big Blackbird, now fine-tuned for young riders between 140cm and 160cm tall. Built for kids who learn how to feel confident on technical terrain, it delivers the full Blackbird experience in a lighter package.
For the 2026 season, the Blackbird Junior steps up its game with a refined component mix that boosts performance while keeping things simple and durable. Suspension duties are handled by the X-Fusion Slant RC air fork with 130 mm of travel, specifically designed for 26" wheels, and the X-Fusion O2 Pro R air shock for smooth and controlled performance on varied trails.
Power comes from the Microshift Advent 9-speed drivetrain with a clutch rear derailleur and 11–42T cassette. The FSA Gamma Pro crankset adds stiffness and strength, while the Dartmoor Shield rims and Reel Boost hubs complete a wheelset that’s tough, responsive, and ready for action.
With its proven suspension platform, dialed geometry, and upgraded components, the Blackbird Junior handles enduro and flow trails smoothly - and makes a perfect companion for those first real jumps.
