While rims and tires are getting wider and wider, we have also created a new, wider version of the Shield. Shield Wide is as durable as all the previous models but better for wider tires and lower pressure plus it is fully compatible with tubeless-ready standards. This rim is dedicated to the most aggressive MTB bikes and tires from 2.35" up to 2.8" wide.
